The mission of Frenchtown CERT is \u201csupporting our community through education, preparedness, and good works\u201d.<\/p>\n

Frenchtown Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) educates the community about disaster preparedness and trains volunteers in basic disaster response skills, such as: preventing accidents, fire safety, light search and rescue, basic medical operation, and building a personalized disaster kit. Working to do the greatest good for the greatest number of people, we support our community and first responders before, during, and after disasters and events.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_wp_text title=”Courage To Act Class”]This class is open to the public and taught by trained emergency responders. You will learn basic fire safety and fire extinguisher use. You will also be taught basic first aid techniques in identifying the \u201c3 Killer\u201d (Airway Obstruction, Severe Bleeding, and Shock).
